Brief Background Description

Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Joél grew up as the youngest of four siblings. Early on, he developed a keen interest for technology, automobiles, and mechanics. Ever since he was a child, Joél always had a desire to work with his hands being creative. Upon graduating from high school, Joél entered Universal Technical Institute in Orlando Florida where he obtained a degree in Automotive Technology. After returning from Orlando and taking over his family's furniture business in New York, where he learned a great deal about business and responsibility, Joél realized that his true passion involved the creative side of the business world. He began a career in Marketing at Suffolk Community College and obtained an AAS in Marketing and Advertising. Today Joél is continuing his education at The Fashion Institute of Technology pursuing a Bachelor in Science in International Trade and Marketing. Joél is a very passionate individual. He loves creativity and enjoys bringing his ideas to life. The passion Joél has for life and for his work have driven him to achieve many great personal and professional goals. The ideals and vision manifested by Joél propel a sense of uniqueness that set him apart from others. These aspects combined with his positive out-take on life are major contributors to his personal and professional success.
